From sunrise to sunset, Bayfront Park is a go-to location in the heart of Miami for walking and hanging out outside. The 32-acre park has ample space for long walks, relaxing and taking in the true Miami scenery. Looking out on beautiful Biscayne Bay is an unmatched view and Bayfront Park gives those views from almost anywhere in the park.

Located in the heart of the Everglades National Park, Mahogany Hammock Trail transports you out of Miami and into the jungle. The boardwalk and walking trail is 0.4 miles long, bringing guests on a beautiful self guided tour through the lush landscaping and some of the largest living mahogany trees in the United States. One of the highlights of this trail is that bikes are not permitted, giving the space to walkers without having to worry about moving out of the way for bikers.

Whether you want to walk on the beach or on a path, Virginia Key North Point Trails has options for everyone. The trail spans a 4 mile loop and is unique from every turn, with elevation and beautiful scenery. This is most definitely a popular trail, so there is no doubt you will run into other walkers or bikers along the way. Unfortunately trails at Virginia Key are not pet friendly, so your dogs will have to stay home for this walk!

The Venetian Causeway is one of Miami’s most classic and beautiful walks. The entirety of the causeway has 12 bridges, from Downtown to Miami Beach, alongside the bright blue Miami water. Walking the Venetian Causeway is a go-to activity with unmatched views into many houses on the islands.

South Pointe Park is always bustling with walkers, taking in Miami’s true beauty. The park is located alongside a beautiful walkway, which connects to the vast Miami Beach boardwalk. The park space spans 17-acres, making itself a prime location for many locals every evening as they walk with friends and their dogs, looking out on some of the best oceanfront views in the city.

This 11 mile long trail is one of the most popular in Miami, spanning many South Miami landmarks from the Montgomery Botanical Center to the Cutler Wetland Preserve. The noteworthy route of Old Cutler Trail is perfect for a jog or leisure walk, through the beautiful neighborhoods and walkways.

Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, The Barnacle Historic State Park is a beautifully shaded 5-acre trail. While this is a shorter trail, it is the perfect afternoon activity which leads to beautiful waterfront views alongside historic monuments.
