The best way to celebrate a 110-year anniversary is through full-on decadence. Just ask The Beverly Hills Hotel.

In honor of the milestone, the infamously pink hotel is offering a special edition of its beloved McCarthy Salad. Available through December, the $1,912 Anniversary McCarthy Salad the signature dish is being elevated for the first time in decades.

Earlier this year, The Beverly Hills Hotel kicked off its 110th anniversary with the grand reopening of Bar Nineteen12 and Elizabth Taylor’s Bungalow 5 exhibition with complementary Pink Palace stationary station. Nothing less is expected of the luxury hotel as the celebration continues with the addition of the Anniversary McCarthy Salad.

The hotel's Polo Lounge has a history of famous guests, including frequent guest and captain of a local polo team Neil McCarthy. As a regular of the Polo Lounge, McCarthy made his own special request that would later become the restaurant’s signature dish and remain popular today. The original recipe has remained untouched for years and nearly 600 orders of it are sold throughout the hotel each week.

The original McCarthy Salad is made of iceberg and romain lettuce, grilled chicken, egg, beets, tomatoes, cheddar, smoked bacon, avocado and balsamic vinaigrette.

Guests of the Polo Lounge can now upgrade to the anniversary version. The special edition is served by white gloves and will include 24K gold leaf flakes, lobster and caviar and is paired with a bottle of Dom Pérignon. What's more, the $1,912 price honors the opening year of the hotel.

Adding to the commemorative dish is a beautiful Bernardaud porcelain bowl that the salad will be served in and guests get to take home. The porcelain was carefully designed to fit the Martinique print of the Polo Lounge walls, which has been around since 1949.

Lastly, a portion of the proceeds will go to the LA Conservancy in honor of the hotels’ very own legendary architect Paul Revere Williams.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is known for its exquiste taste with the many special features it has to offer guests. This year's anniversary is nothing short of that.
