Burdo is an indoor/outdoor destination for fine casual dining and unique nightlife experiences. Its mission is to foster a spirit of adventure and create bold experiences while satisfying all of your cravings, offering a happy hour, dinner, and late-night snacks. Burdo believes that life is too short for boring food and bad music. The Modern American restaurant invites guests to sample their extensive menu and soak in its eccentric vibe.
Burdo's cuisine focuses on Modern American fare, with a diverse menu that puts bold flavors at the forefront of each guest's dining experience. The extensive menu offers a well-balanced selection of Bowls & Salads, Sushi Rolls, Burgers, Pizzas, and Main Dishes with various protein options. Some unique menu items include, but are not limited to, the Machete Burger ($22) made with Artisan bread, grilled beef patty, bacon, caramelized onions, avocado, aioli, mustard, ketchup, and bathed in a layer of creamy cheddar cheese and french fries; Green Apple and Cheese Mix Pizza ($20) topped with blue cheese, mozzarella, bocconcini cheese, green apple slices in maple syrup, almonds, basil, and spinach; Truffle Pizza ($27) ceremoniously prepared tableside and topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, creamy burrata, mushrooms, and fresh truffle; Black Wings ($28) made with beer-battered Tempura topped with sesame seeds, chives and bathed in Black Barbecue sauce; and Truffle Grilled Cauliflower ($20) featuring pea purée, tarragon gremolata seasoning, and truffle oil.
An extensive beverage menu complements Burdo's mouthwatering and innovative food offerings. The carefully curated beverage program highlights several signature drinks, including mezcal-based creations such as La Parca and El Chingon; gin-based delicacies such as The Patio, Fresh Gimlet, Last Word, and Gin Fizz; and sweet offerings such as La Fraga, Jalisco Frontier, and In Basil. There is also a bottle service available.
Furthermore, Criminal Taqueria at Burdo is a part of what brings this culinary journey full circle. Criminal Taqueria's kitchen operates independently and serves a variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, esquites, and elote bowls ranging from $4 to $13. Criminal Taqueria, which offers quick grab-and-go service, is the ideal setting for a happy sunset hour with friends, a midday pick-me-up, or a late-night bite. The taqueria also serves margaritas and micheladas.
Every indoor/outdoor space detail has been carefully selected to create a one-of-a-kind guest experience. The main dining room is 2,700 square feet and features minimalist decor and earth tones. Burdo's inviting outdoor oasis is surrounded by lush greenery and features a lively bar as its focal point. The open-air seating area offers 4,000 square feet of alfresco dining and general entertainment space for guests to enjoy. The restaurant transforms into a vibrant nightlife destination after dark, showcasing high-tech sound and lighting systems to create a playful party scene.
Burdo's Wynwood location is the Miami version of SinMente Group's original concept, launched in Medellin, Colombia, in 2014. The recent opening is the first of many joint ventures between SinMente Group and Buenavista Investment Group in the Magic City.
