Major Food Group (@majorfoodgroup) has become synonymous with dining like royalty. From its superior food and beverage programming to its ultra-exclusive status as some of the hardest reservations to secure in each of its given cities, the dream team—Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick and Rich Torrisi—have the golden recipe to bring their inimitable flair to dining destinations all over the world and create memorable and unique experiences.
Last year, Major Food Group began its unprecedented expansion in Miami, launching with the opening of beloved hot spot Carbone in Miami Beach followed by ZZ’s Member's Club in the Miami Design District. They subsequently opened the epic Israeli dinner party destination HaSalon and its cherished New York-born brunch destination Sadelle’s in Coconut Grove. With a footprint in all of Miami’s key neighborhoods, the group certainly accomplished its major goals to explode its presence in Miami—and there’s still more left with an upcoming steakhouse in Brickell, a second restaurant in Miami Design District, a second Sadelle’s and even a residential tower.
Now, in time for Miami’s most anticipated moment of the year—the inaugural Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 Race—the Major Food Group team continues the momentum as they present their ultra-secret dinner party pop-up, Carbone Beach presented by American Express. Taking place from May 5-8, Carbone Beach is touted to be the city’s most exclusive and legendary dinner party to ever hit Miami. Located in a tent on the beach at a secret location, seating just 200 guests per night, the party will begin with a tastefully curated cocktail hour, intimate seated dinner (where the great chef Mario Carbone himself will be helming the kitchen), followed by exclusive live performances. Exclusively available to American Express Card Members, Reservations at CARBONE BEACH are available beginning today on Resy at this link.
“People can expect to go to the best dinner party that they’ve ever been to,” says Zalaznick. “Carbone Beach encompasses a series of evenings showcasing a multi-sensory experience that starts upon arrival and continues throughout the night. From the cocktail hour to an over-the-top dining experience, culminating in world-class, nightly performances, it will be legendary—imagine the allure of a Gatsby-esque Carbone celebration converging on the sands of Miami Beach.”
Major Food Group’s enhanced presence during F1 Week is no surprise, as they have made it clear that their intention is to continue brining unique experiences to the city with great impact, enhancing their ever-growing footprint within their new home in Miami.
“This is going to be the biggest weekend in Miami history and we are thrilled to be part of it,” Zalaznick notes. “We want to keep raising the bar on the best ways to celebrate in the Magic city, just like we have from the day we arrived here.”
The city is prepared to welcome visitors from both domestic and international markets, stretching all the way from South Miami to Fort Lauderdale. With celebrities, business titans and some of the greatest race drivers in the world touching down in Miami, prepare for a history-making week that will raise the bar for both Formula 1, and Miami itself, for years to come. And there’s no doubt that the best celeb-spotting outside the race will be taking place inside the exclusive tents of Carbone Beach.
How exactly will this be the greatest dinner party ever thrown? Zalaznick is confident in their plans to deliver.
“Carbone Beach will take the Carbone experience to an entirely new level of decadence, marrying exceptional cuisine, incredible cocktails, nightly entertainment and surprise performances—all on the sands of Miami Beach. It will be a truly unforgettable experience."
