Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Buy Miami Beach Mansion
|January 7, 2021|Home & Real Estate,
Supermodel Cindy Crawford is long acquainted with Miami Beach. It was a sunny, sandy playground for models and celebrities throughout the 1990s. Now, Crawford and husband Rande Geber have made their love for the area official with the purchase of a waterfront home for $9.625 million.
According to Architectural Digest, the 3,803-square-foot midcentury modern includes 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 100 feet of direct water frontage, complete with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay. Wood-slat cielings, sand-colored ceramic tiles and exposed brick give the luxuious home a tropical feel. The main living space includes a full wall of glass sliding doors which open directly to the back patio, yard and bay-side pool.
The listing was represented by Mirce Curkoski and Albert Justo with The Waterfront Team at One Sotheby’s International Realty. Fellow fashion model Karlie Kloss and her husband Josh Kushner, Tory Burch cofounder Chris Burch and billionaire Barry Sternlicht are neighbors in the zip code. Giselle Bündchen and husband Tom Brady also recently purchased a stunning home on Indian Creek Island. Model party, anyone?
As much as we hope Crawford and Gerber make Miami their home, the waterfront abode is far from the only property in the couple's possession. They still own a mansion in Malibu, having allowed a would-be buyer to back out of a deal in spring due to concerns over the emerging COVID-19 pandemic. Add to that a cottage in Toronto and a mansion in Beverly Hills, the latter of which was also listed for sale last summer.
A big congratulations and warm welcome to the latest Miamians. Check the full report in Architectural Digest for pictures and more details.
