The oceanfront Confidante Miami Beach is collaborating with Rodney Strong Vineyards to host “Flavors Of Miami Meet Sonoma", a luxurious wine tasting and dining event on February 24 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Featuring a spectacular menu curated by Dania Ortez paired with exclusive hand picked reserve wines by renowned winemaker Justin Seindfeld, this dining experience will bring bold flavors to life in a way that has never been done before.
Located in the idyllic Mid-Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, The Confidante Miami Beach hotel will host this multi-layer dining experience at their modern restaurant, the Ambersweet Terrace. Nestled perfectly between the hustle of South Beach and the bustle of Miami’s hip art districts, Ambersweet Terrace provides a wonderfully unique dining experience which celebrates Miami’s vibrant history and culture. Following dinner, a fabulous reception will take place in the exclusive 1930’s house.
The enchanting dinner will feature a four course menu with a diverse selection of hors d'oeuvres, and a wonderful combination of reserve wines for $250. Featured hour d’oeuvres include fresh roasted oysters, homemade stracciatella, steak anticucho and a lush cheese and charcuterie display. Paired with flavorful Rodney Strong Cabernets, Rosé’s and Sauvingon Blancs, the strong flavors of both the luxury food and wine make for an otherworldly flavor profile for guests to enjoy.
Highlights of the meal include the main entrée, a mouthwatering aji crusted lamb chop. Made with the highest grade lamb and providing a succulent flavor, this dish will be paired with the Rodney Strong Single Vineyard “Brothers” Cabernet Sauvignon made in 2016 from Alexander Valley. Completing the dining experience is a delectable red velvet reserve, perfectly paired with the 2016 Rodney Strong “Symmetry” Meritage.
