The new SpeedETab app lets South Floridians order any beverage—from cocktails to coffee—with a tap of a button.
Standing in long lines at local hot spots is inevitable in Miami. Fortunately, South Florida-based entrepreneurs Adam Garfield and Ed Gilmore decided to change the waiting game with their invention, SpeedETab, an app that seamlessly allows users to order and pay for items right from their iPhone or Android phone. “If we can skip a 20-or 30-minute process by letting people order ahead of time, that brings a lot of value to the customer and to the merchant,” says Garfield.
Originally launched in March 2015 as a way for customers to avoid crowds and lines at popular bars, SpeedETab has rapidly grown to include coffee shops (such as Panther Coffee and Pasión del Cielo), restaurants, concessions, and even the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, so you never miss a second of the action. SpeedETab aims to next infiltrate New York and Chicago, but it was born right here in South Florida.
