When did your love for skincare begin?
My passion for skincare has always been inherent, thanks to my amazing mother, Dr. Deborah Longwill, a brilliant, longtime dermatologist. It’s been a lifelong love affair with all things skin and beauty-related, and I felt inclined to run with this passion and build on my mother’s legacy at Skin Studio by Doctor’s Daughter.
What has been the most rewarding part of your job?
Helping people embrace their natural beauty and witnessing them become more comfortable and confident postfacial is the best gift and what makes our work so fulfilling.
What are your five holy grail skincare products?
Stem Cell Serum: This is my go-to morning and night holy grail for a major skin boost!
Skin Barrier Calming Cream: I swear by this cream’s ability to soothe and repair troubled skin. It calms redness and irritation while keeping your skin hydrated and balanced.
Vitamin C Serum: I rely on this serum for brightening, evening out skin tone, and reducing hyperpigmentation.
Tinted Shield & Shine SPF: Sunscreen is a must-wear, even on gloomy days.
Chlorophyll Calming Elixir: This little gem is my go-to for instantly calming any signs of redness and irritation.
What is your No. 1 tip for achieving desired skin results?
Consistency with custom facials and a solid at-home routine is key! A consistent skincare routine, lots of water, a balanced diet and good sleep are your skin’s best friend.
What’s your go-to makeup look?
I love to keep things natural, and skin prep is essential for that clean, effortless look. I always start with a thorough skin prep to achieve a dewy finish, followed by a couple of glow serums, including Saie and Merit Beauty, for a base. I dab some concealer under my eyes (Tower 28, NARS or Clé de Peau), apply a cream-based bronzer and blush for a sun-kissed look, and usually finish with a natural-toned lip liner, a gloss, and if I’m heading out for a night out, a swipe of mascara.
