As much as I love the heat and sun, I actually miss the rain. Even when I lived in LA for six years, I missed it.

Who is the athlete everyone should know about?
I’d like to say one of my kids, but I'm biased.
The biggest positive change in sports recently?
To be honest, for the MLS, it’s constantly changing and to get this league to the level of European leagues, it constantly has to change because that’s what’s going to really benefit the game in this country.
Advice to young athletes?
My advice always to young kids is be humble, and be grateful because your career goes like that and you don't realize it until you’re finished, but, you know, I look back on my career and it went on for 22 years but I was lucky because I was at a club where the manager gave us media training at 16 years old. Back then, it wasn’t the normal thing to do, so i was lucky. But my advice is to always be grateful, humble and work hard.
Best place to get a cuban coffee in Miami?
There’s this amazing lady that works at our Miami offices. She’s the best cuban coffee maker, like ever, and every time I go there, she makes me about three or four and I can't sleep for about a week but she’s the best.
