Internationally acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle is set to bring his next art exhibit, Happy Together, to Visu Contemporary. Opening Jan 26, this exhibit will be LaChapelle’s first Miami Beach exhibit.

With an exciting resume as one of the most published photographers in the world, his work includes photographing some of the most recognizable figures, including Alicia Keys, Angeline Jolie, Britney Spears, Cher, Christina Aguilera, David Beckham, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio, Whitney Houston and so many others.
Bringing more than 40 years of experience, the highly acclaimed photographer, music video and film director’s Miami exhibit encompasses the artist’s most iconic works, including his newest work, Three Graces (male) (2023), inspired by Raphael’s master painting The Three Graces (1503-1505). The exhibit highlights LaChapelle’s earlier works, Archangel Uriel (1985), My Own Marilyn (2002) and other past works.

“We are thrilled to present David LaChapelle’s first-ever solo exhibition on Miami Beach,” said Bruce Halpryn, co-owner and co-curator of VISU Contemporary. “This curation reveals an exciting range of themes while highlighting the artist’s distinct ability to create thought-provoking narratives. Many of the iconic works on view have become a mirror of the time we live in while also providing a glimpse into the future.”
Beginning his career painting, merged to taking pictures for Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine. Through his unique point of view through color, composition and narratives, LaChapelle’s work has been featured worldwide, garnering international interest.
