Devon Windsor’s new swimwear takes cues from Miami and Old Hollywood.
When shooting her summer 2020 collection campaign, Devon Windsor’s husband lent a hand to photograph, and Windsor did her own hair, makeup and styling. Despite the unusual circumstances, the shoot holds all the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood—Windsor’s swimwear has both cutout bikinis and feminine one-pieces reminiscent of the golden age. The line’s monochromatic color palette is accented with textured zebra print, tie-dye and metallic gold. Some of the Miami-based model’s swim go-tos include the black textured and utilitarian belted Kylie full-piece ($190) and twisted sparkling gold Scarlett top ($90). Alongside swim, Windsor expanded her line to incorporate cropped jackets, miniskirts and plunging dresses for on- and off-the-beach outfitting. Windsor added headscarves and retro sunglasses with diamond chain croakies to complete the look. As for her personal favorite, the Lila jacket ($189) and Piper skirt ($189) are both made from swim material to go directly from sea to sand.
