Kissaki’s newest venture, KISS, is set to redefine South Beach nightlife. Debuted on Nov. 29, this cocktail and tapas bar pairs inventive drinks from ROKC’s renowned beverage team with a globally inspired menu by executive chef Benjamin Tellez.

This highly anticipated addition to the Kissaki family melds the culinary prowess of its Japanese and omakase roots with the artistry of one of America’s most celebrated beverage programs. KISS is a collaboration with Brooklyn’s acclaimed cocktail haven, ROKC, promising an inventive menu of cocktails crafted with avant-garde techniques and imaginative flair. The partnership redefines evening indulgence in Miami Beach, elevating the art of mixology through playful presentations and nostalgic inspirations.

As the sun sets, Kissaki’s daytime partner, Lilikoi Organic Living, transitions into a sophisticated evening retreat, seamlessly blending health-conscious living with indulgent elegance. Green juices and vibrant bowls by day give way to curated cocktails and globally inspired small plates by night, offering an experience that epitomizes Miami’s unique balance of vitality and decadence. At KISS, the artful interplay of flavors and ambiance creates an unforgettable narrative where guests are invited to linger over cocktails in striking vessels, like the cucumber in the pepper, a tequila-based creation served in a red bell pepper.

Joji Watanabe, Co-Founder and Beverage Director of ROKC, brings his innovative approach to South Florida with KISS, marking his debut in the region. Known for techniques like milk washing and a commitment to crafting ingredients from scratch, Watanabe has reimagined classics into contemporary masterpieces. From the smoky allure of the smoky piña colada to the fiery theatrics of the burning passion, each cocktail tells its own story. The menu offers an intriguing blend of tradition and modernity, with highlights such as the matcha-inspired Macha and the intriguingly named Coke without Coke, a rum cocktail with a housemade cola syrup that pays homage to over a dozen ingredients.

Complementing the cocktail program is a menu by Kissaki Miami’s executive chef, Benjamin Tellez, designed to tantalize the palate with dishes as stunning as they are flavorful. Guests can savor delicate Wagyu tacos nestled in blue corn tortillas, indulgent caviar cornets crowned with osetra caviar, and patatas bravas elevated with herbed confit potatoes and a duo of vibrant aiolis. For a sweet finale, the matcha pot de crème with sesame donuts or the decadent soft serve vanilla adorned with olive oil, sea salt, caviar, and gold offer a harmonious close to an exquisite evening.
