South Florida has become a destination where many individuals travel to receive a variety of plastic surgery procedures. We caught up with Dr. Ennis of Ennis Plastic Surgery to talk all about the plastic surgery scope in South Florida.

Dr. Ennis has had an eye for art and precision since he was little, and it wasn’t until one of his high school professors submitted his art to the US Congress for their US Congressional Art Show that he received recognition for his creative eye. Through his collegiate then medical school years, Dr. Ennis admired the combination of science and art plastic surgery had. “I enjoy it now because it's kind of an artistic outlet. I enjoy fixing things, and it's easier for me to look at a face or a problem and say, okay, we're gonna move this piece over here and move this piece over here and make everything better.”

Originally from and working in Alabama, Dr. Ennis was receiving a high volume of international clients, and with a small airport and not many places to fly in and out from, he had to pivot his business. He first opened up a practice in Brickell part-time and with that success soon came the full-time practice in Boca Raton. With a unique and luxurious approach to plastic surgery Dr. Ennis brings in some of the best clients and niche surgeries. “Being kind of a boutique clinic we try to keep it much more hands-on and not like some of these big, big clinics, they just run people through there. It's much more personal and kind of the Ritz Carlton of plastic surgery practices.” Most of Dr. Ennis’ patients stay at the nearby Boca Beach Club and are transported to and from his office in their Rolls Royce, giving them a simplistic and luxurious experience.

Dr. Ennis’ practice mostly focuses on three popular surgeries, breast augmentation, deep plane facelift and labiaplasty. Dr. Ennis is aware of the South Florida lifestyle and adheres his procedures to that, “What we have done a lot of is breast implants and we do a small incision in the underarm that way the girls won’t have a scar on their breast. Obviously, being in Miami and South Florida, everybody is very body-conscious, so if the girls can avoid a scar they certainly like to,” Dr. Ennis explained, “So I end up doing a lot of those. People come from all over the world because we do the silicone from the underarm too.”
