On Jan. 24 and 25, from 7-11 p.m., Julia & Henry's, the celebrated Miami hotspot renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings and dynamic entertainment, will host a remarkable bar takeover by Drink Kong, Rome’s revered cocktail destination. Ranked #33 on the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars list and presented in collaboration with Delta Air Lines, this exclusive event promises to blend the energy of Miami with the distinctive charm of one of the world’s most innovative cocktail bars.

Drink Kong’s global acclaim stems from its neo-noir aesthetic, where dim lighting contrasts with vibrant neon and striking graphic art. Drawing inspiration from manga, Blade Runner, and 1980s cocktail lounges, the bar offers a sensory experience unlike any other. At the heart of Drink Kong’s offerings is its instinct-driven, mood-based menu, designed to surprise guests with each sip. The menu visually presents each cocktail, moving away from traditional ingredient lists in favor of broad flavor profiles like dry, sweet, or bitter.

The enigmatic 'Kong Factor' adds a layer of intrigue, giving every drink a signature style perfectly in tune with the bar’s bold vision. General manager Lorenzo Mancusi explains, “We’ve always believed that cocktails are more than just drinks—they’re stories in a glass, crafted to connect people and cultures.”

During this two-night pop-up, Drink Kong’s team will serve four of their signature creations: Simmetry, a harmonious blend of scotch, ginger liqueur, and kong cordial; Canova, a herbaceous mix of gin, thyme-rosemary-basil-black olive cordial, and vinegar; Equinox, a refreshing cocktail featuring gin, Campari, and grapefruit-capers cordial; and Ishtar, a tropical infusion of vodka, Aperol, mango cordial, and passion fruit liqueur. Guests will be invited to savor these masterpieces while enjoying an expertly curated food menu that complements the bold flavors of Drink Kong. Julia & Henry’s will present their interpretation of Drink Kong’s bite menu, featuring signature dishes such as gyozas from Hitchihaika, handroll combos from Yabai, the pastrami sandwich from Mensch, and the Korean from Peachy’s Chicken Shack.
