As the summer heat rolls around, Elspiri, a new Miami-based swimwear company, is ready to launch in the U.S. their first-ever swim and beachwear collection for Summer 2022.
The body-positive swimsuits and beachwear induce a yearning for the sea through their vivid, coastal styles and versatile patterns made for every figure. Elspiri's line is Greek-inspired, with brilliant florals, solids, and animal patterns representing many of the tropical and oceanside colors in Santorini and other Greek islands.
“Elspiri celebrates individuality and diversity with adjustability and attention to detail to let your body tell your story,” said Juanita Carmet, Swim & Resortwear Designer for Elspiri. “Our feminine styles are designed to make you feel empowered and confident in your own skin.”
The collection comprises four styles and seven colors of adjustable and supportive bikini tops with replaceable bra cups. Cora is a lace front bralette with a supporting band in plumbago and fantasy floral tones; Athena is an over the shoulder top with a tie back in a painted animal print and bougainvillea pink; Lyra is a versatile cross back bralette in white, sorbet, bougainvillea, and painted animal colors; and Ophelia is a triangle over the shoulder top in Greek blue and fantasy floral tones.
Thea is a high leg V-cut bottom available in bougainvillea, printed animal, and fantasy floral colors. Maya is a high-waisted, high leg bottom available in plumbago and bougainvillea. Zoe is a drawstring tie-side triangle bottom available in sorbet, printed animal, Greek blue, and floral colors.
Bikini tops and bottoms are available in various sizes and can be mixed and matched. Bikini tops begin at $79, while bikini bottoms start at $77.
Elspiri produced two designs of one-piece swimsuits, including Chloe, a lace front piece with a deep V-cut back and adjustable straps, available in sorbet, bougainvillea, and painted animal tones for a bit extra coverage. The Alexandra is a keyhole cut-out one-piece with adjustable tie-back strings in Greek blue and fantasy floral colors. Solid-color one-piece swimsuits start at $165, and designs start at $172.
Elspiri will also introduce beachwear that will complement its swimsuits or can be worn on its own as casual resort wear. The beachwear line includes something for everyone, from simple solid-colored shirt dresses to daring off-the-shoulder crop tops. Amara is an off-the-shoulder crop top in a fantasy floral color that can be paired with the Helen sarong skirt. Elena, a drawstring shirt dress available in a fantasy floral, black, white, and blueprinted animal patterns; and Catherine, a versatile neckline dress with a removable belt in black and terrain and blue-tone animal prints. Elspiri's beachwear starts at $65 for off-the-shoulder crop tops and goes up to $165 for a drawstring shirt dress.
When deciding on the collection’s materials to incorporate into the design, Carmet said “the brand strived to use quality fabrics from top mills in the industry to provide customers with the most value for their money. The human skin is the largest organ; we wanted to make sure we dressed it in premium fabrics.”
Elspiri is a body-positive swimwear and beachwear brand that defines femininity with styles that compliment the body, designed in Miami and inspired by desire for the sea. Each piece complements and highlights the unique natural beauty of the female form, with flattering and vivid designs and supportive, superior fabrics. Elspiri encourages individuality and diversity by allowing your body to tell your narrative via adaptability and attention to detail.
The brand's products are produced with premium Italian fabrics that are quick-drying, anti-pilling, and wrinkle-free while maintaining comfort, colorfastness, and elasticity. The beachwear collection is composed entirely of Brazilian cotton and viscose, giving each garment a linen-like appearance that is breathable, light, soft, and drapey. OEKO-TEX® and Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) certified fabrics are utilized throughout.
