Slightly cooler weather, breezy days, the smell of pumpkin-spiced-everything, and orange-ish décor tells us that Autumn has arrived. In Downtown Coral Gables, it’s officially Fall when the beloved annual pumpkin arch arrives...and it’s officially up, on the plaza in front of Fritz & Franz Bierhaus at 60 Merrick Way.
There are many ways to enjoy the season in the Downtown, and getting the perfect Fall-inspired picture at the arch is one of our favorites! This year, when you pose under the arch and share it tagging @experiencecoralgables and #pumpkinparadox by November 30, and you could be randomly selected to win a gift card to enjoy in our Downtown Coral Gables shops and restaurants. Be sure to stop by with your friends, family and even four-footed friends to add a beautiful seasonal picture to the photo album.

Fall weather brings the perfect time to enjoy an outdoor workout. Whether you're into jogging, skating or walking, our sidewalks and beautiful architecture make it an enjoyable experience. You could also opt for a bike ride. No Boundaries Sport on Aragon Ave rents bikes that you can pick-up at the store for a quick trip around the Mile and wherever the pedals take you around the city, enjoy the charm of Autumn with the many dining options available in Downtown Coral Gables. Whether you’re into the Fall flavors – such as a Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory or a Pumpkin Spiced coffee from Crema – or if it’s an al fresco dinner experience you want, then check out the rooftop at Cebada (the Downtown’s first rooftop restaurant). The options are endless and cater to your preference (and palate).
During your stroll through the Downtown, you can browse through the beautiful selection of seasonal outfits at boutiques like Zoey Reva or Essence, or get a Fall-inspired hair color with caramel or copper hues at La Bella Salon, and then, why not pick up the perfect pumpkin and other home décor pieces at Rose Tree Cottage or Violetas.
