This news comes hot off the Miami Grand Prix circuit: Famed Monacan Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc of Scuderia Ferrari is officially a Miami homeowner after purchasing a waterfront Sky Residence at EDITION Residences in Edgewater.
The 55-story glass tower marks the global hotel brand’s first independent collection of fully serviced luxury condominium residences, ranging from one-bedroom-plus-den to four-bedroom floorplans priced from $2 million and above. Leclerc’s purchase price is undisclosed at this time.
South Florida-based luxury real estate firm Two Roads Development is spearheading the project, with a heightened emphasis on privacy and security to cater to celebrity and high-profile clientele. Each of the 185 bespoke units boast panoramic water views and a private elevator lobby. Privacy is further underscored by a discreet building entrance for VIP residents such as Leclerc.
Designed by architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica with interiors curated by designer Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge, EDITION Residences is slated to extend the same level of luxury and world-class amenities synonymous with the EDITION brand.
Undoubtedly an exhilarating draw for Leclerc is the state-of-the-art racing simulator, situated within 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space that also includes a freestanding wet bar, a cabana-lined resort-style pool, a cinema, a golf simulator, onsite dining, private training studios, pickleball courts, a library lounge and more.
Construction is predicted to start in late 2024, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 36 months. Prospective buyers can schedule private showings at the EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater’s $10 million sales gallery. Sales and marketing is being exclusively represented by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
