One of the most enticing elements of embarking on an omakase journey is the luxury of intimacy. Sharing a multicourse culinary journey in front of the chef at work among a small group, diners are granted the rare opportunity to feel as though they a part of the magic behind the counter. At Miami’s ultraluxe Faena Hotel Miami Beach, they’re emphasizing this experience with the launch of its newest eatery, El Secreto Omakase.

The speakeasy-style omakase experience is curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Paul Qui, who helms fellow restaurant Pao by Paul Qui on the property. With a six-top bar and only two seatings per night, exclusivity is as integral a part of the experience as the extraordinary food.

Maintaining the authenticity of an omakase experience, diners leave the meal up to the chef, delighting in beautifully presented pieces of edible art along the way, inviting guests to explore some of the finest ingredients in the world.
