Franki Amour (@frankiamour) embodies her hometown of Miami with every part of her career. The singer, who commonly refers to herself as the "Green Haired Monsta,” is set to embark on a new journey, with her single Love Scars to be released on November 19, 2021, and an EP soon following.
With culture at the forefront of the Miami lifestyle, Amour utilizes that to her advantage in her daily life but also in her music. Amour thanks her Miami upbringing for inspiring her, but also broadening her creativity, denoting that her music is not put in a specific box due to the vast culture here in the Magic City.

From the moment she walks into a room, her personality, confidence, killer style and beautiful green locks steal the show. When asking Amour how her Green Haired Monsta journey began, she laughed and explained “I was getting into a little dispute one day, and the other party decided to insult me, and that was the insult. She called me a green haired monster. And I was like, that's cute, I like that, I want to go with that. So it's basically like my alter ego.”
Aside from Amour’s amazing aura, her voice is one to watch. Her newest single, Love Scars will be a pinnacle moment of her career. Amour worked alongside music legend and fellow Miami-native, Sean Kingston on this record. Amour referred to Kingston as a “Musical genius” as they ventured into this collaboration together.
When asking Amour who her biggest inspiration was, the answer was unique, but inspiring in every sense. “Life is my biggest inspiration,” she explained, “We just see a lot of things throughout life and I've learned every day it's always something that I'm learning new every day. I just take everything that I've come across and that I've learned and I just bottle it all up and try to get a better understanding of my surroundings and just everything in life in general. That's my biggest inspiration, besides Prince!”
Amour’s next release, Love Scars, is setting herself up for an amazing EP release in late November. She spent the last year writing this EP, which has been a roller coaster, she expressed. Although, she knew that she wanted to use the opportunity to channel her emotions into her music. “I had to bring the ugly into the beautiful,” Amour explained, signifying the EP’s title, Beautiful Chaos. Amour shouted out her team, emphasizing that she would have not gotten through this process without their amazing support and energy.
Amour could not be more excited to release this EP and single in the upcoming weeks. She thanks her fans and her upbringing in Miami for the extreme influence they have both had on her music this far, and we know this is just the beginning for the Green Haired Monsta.
