G-Eazy celebrated the launch of his new, ‘These Things Happen Too,’ album in Miami this weekend.
The rapper and producer brought the heat, in his dazzling red pants, to E11EVEN Miami Saturday evening.
The 29-song album features many hit songs and collaborations with other notable artists including Lil Wayne, Demi Lovato, Ty Dolla $ign, Tory Lanez, Jack Harlow and many more. The album was released one day prior to his Miami celebrations, on Friday, September 24.
On his way into the club, G-Eazy set aside some time to talk on the red carpet and answer some of our burning questions in relation to this new album.
When asking who his dream collaboration would be, he didn’t even have to think. With confidence, he said, “I’ve always said Ye, that would be crazy,” in reference to Kayne.
G-Eazy really spoke from the heart and reflected on his last seven years performing and working in the industry, “I named it, ‘These Things Happen Too’ to be a sequel to my first album, that first album changed my entire life.” His first album, ‘These Things Happen' was released in 2014, and was really the gateway to his success.
He continued, “That first album brought me to E11EVEN for the first time, and here we are all these years later. Seven years later still in the game, plaques behind me, and a whole lot of success that I’m very proud of in the sense that I’m able to take care of my family and share this with my best friends. Here we are years and years later and it’s still the same people and the same love. These are blessings you can’t take for granted.”
At E11EVEN on Saturday the rapper put on a high-energy, 30-minute show on the center stage and sang to many new and old hits including No Limit, Provide, Boss Tycoon and Still Be Friends. Before the show, we asked him what the crowd should expect tonight and laughed as he said, “The crowd knows what to expect when Gerald comes home.”
Following his performance he gave tremendous thanks and love to the crowd, “We could’ve been anywhere in the world, but we chose to be at E11EVEN”

G-Eazy and his group of friends continued to dance the night away and enjoy every bit of their friend’s success and triumph with this new album.
