While Gucci remains at the forefront of evolutionary design techniques, the Italian fashion house’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele debuts his powerful new vision through the Gucci Hacker experiment. Serving as a central part of Michele’s vision within Gucci’s latest Aria collection, the fashion guru has swiped the designs from Balenciaga mastermind Demna Gvasalia as he presents a lineup of pieces unifying the two labels’ most iconic motifs.

“Far from standing out, Demna Gvasalia’s designs for Balenciaga fit into the Gucci Aria collection like an inevitability, reminding us that there is a live, beating heart at the core of fashion and that it is one and the same for all,” says Michele. From Gucci bags showcasing Balenciaga’s emblematic logo to a Balenciaga handbag dressed in Gucci floral, the result is an innovative-yet-familiar ensemble of designer goods.
