A first-of-its-kind open-air entertainment venue mixing the thrill of world-class Thoroughbred horse racing with the excitement of South Florida's sizzling hospitality scene will open at Gulfstream Park on April 1, 2022.
Breakwater Hospitality Group and 1/ST EXPERIENCE collaborate on this transformative, trackside venue, bringing a fresh vibe and lively hospitality to Hallandale, FL.
"We are pleased to be cooperating with Breakwater Hospitality Group to offer new energy, partnerships for revolving culinary ideas, and outstanding entertainment to Gulfstream Park," said 1/ST EXPERIENCE Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Vargas. "Carousel Club provides a new level of luxury to Hallandale, giving new and returning guests another incentive to make Gulfstream Park their preferred destination."
The Carousel Club will provide memorable moments for 1,500 guests with 14,000 square feet of tented and open-air areas, featuring a huge deck, covered Carousel Bar with abundant seating, and a grassy garden for lounging and lawn games, enhanced by unique day-to-night programming.
Carousel Club introduces a new concept to Hallandale, with pop-ups from Spris Artisan Pizza, Mad Room Hospitality's Los Altos Taqueria, and Ms. Cheezious, to name a few.
This new Hallandale hot spot will attract locals and visitors alike thanks to its offerings, distinctive ambiance, and chic bungalow décor, located in South Florida, where Miami-Dade and Broward Counties intersect.
Carousel Club patrons will enjoy live entertainment, exciting programming, enormous television screens, and an unrivaled racetrack view thanks to its large antique carousel as its focal point and roomy, lounge-style seating. With a wink and a gesture to the characteristic racing stripes and equipment peculiar to the sport, sporty themes and flora will celebrate Thoroughbred horse racing.
The club will feature two bars and covered lounge seats, striped umbrellas, and lantern-lit trees, which guests can find on the vast deck. Guests will also enjoy life-size games like horseshoe and Jenga with a nostalgic touchpoint on a big lawn for chatting in the sun or under the stars.

The environment will be lovely, family-friendly, and tropical during the day, with selected activations and the unique opportunity to experience the thrills of live Thoroughbred horse racing. The activity will take on a nightlife feel at night with innovative lighting features, upgraded mixology, elite DJs, and live entertainment.
Food enthusiasts will like well-known chefs' revolving culinary partnership concepts and the broad beverage menu. The Instagram-worthy aspects and beautiful surroundings will appeal to tastemakers, allowing them to share content in real-time.
"It was a no-brainer for us when Gulfstream Park approached us with this opportunity," said Emi Guerra, co-owner of Breakwater Hospitality Group. "We admire the sport's history, but we also recognize that this concept encompasses more than just Thoroughbred horse racing." It gives us the opportunity to show off our style of hospitality in such a stylish and unique location."
Carousel Club will be open from noon until late every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Visit CarouselClub.com for more information, bottle service, or RSVP for a complimentary cocktail on opening weekend, April 1st - 3rd.
