Ringing in the new season, Holi is a time to celebrate spring and its new beginnings. Also known as, The Festival of Colors, Holi traditions include throwing powdered dye in the air and covering all attendees in its vibrancy.
Organizations across Miami are celebrating Holi in a variety of different ways and we have rounded up some of the must-attend events.
The Miami Association of Indian Americans for Culture and the Arts is excited to celebrate Holi in Wynwood this year. Bringing the Festival of Colors to Miami, this event will include music, Indian Food, a goods market and so much more for the holiday.
A celebration of culture, community and wellness, ColorFest is ready for its third annual event. Activites will include a Bollywood dance class, yoga, Indian food, local vendors and henna art.
Frankie Bonilla and Lissette Caballero are excited to lead guests through a 90-minute, yoga flow. In honor of Holi, yogis will be able to take part in using synthetic dye color packs throughout the guided meditation beachside.
Located in Miramar Regional Park, this Holi celebration is excited to bring the community together. Colors will be provided to all picnic attendees, as well as a delicious spread of Indian cuisine for lunch.
