BEAUTY RETAIL POWERHOUSE GLOSSIER OPENS ITS PERMANENT DESIGN DISTRICT BRICK-AND-MORTAR IN AN INSTAGRAM DREAM-LIKE SETTING.

Digital retail powerhouse Glossier has become an anomaly in the beauty industry, launching in 2014 with a DTC e-commerce platform. Since then, the brand has continued to grow and has hosted highly anticipated pop-ups in key cities around the country for its loyal fan following.
In 2019, Miami was graced with a prettily pink, art deco-inspired pop-up in Wynwood, which found great success. Due to its popularity, Glossier decided to make its presence in Miami a more permanent setup, opening its beautiful doors to a whimsical, tropical oasis on the third floor of Miami Design District’s Palm Court.
Inspired by the city’s famed beaches and cabana culture, guests will find rich tropical foliage juxtaposed against Florida’s coral keystone palette. A striking stucco dome in the Glossier signature pink serves as a perfect photo moment as well as the store’s visual focal point, inviting guests into the impeccably merchandised beauty mecca to browse and shop.
In stations categorized by products including skincare, body, makeup and more, Glossier lovers are encouraged to experience their favorite products in real life. The centrally located Wet Bar grants the ability to try the products on in a clean and comfortable way, as the Glossier editors are nearby to assist with any needs or provide knowledge on the selections.

Around the back corner, Glossier’s guests will be greeted with its specially curated “photo moment” room—an “underwater” area inside the dome that provides the perfect selfie opportunity, while also paying tribute to its tropical roots.

Unique to the Miami storefront is the addition of its Miami-only merch—an exclusive mesh beach bag—the perfect place to store all of your Glossier beach essentials, from the Glossier Invisible Shield SPF 35 clear daily sunscreen to the signature Balmdotcom, Glossier Boy Brow pomade, waterproof mascara and more. Even better, with each beach bag sold in-store, Glossier will donate $5 to Radical Partners, a Miami-based social impact accelerator investing in leaders, engaging locals and building coalitions to strengthen communities.
