What are your tried-and-true summer haircare essentials?

My summer haircare essentials would have to be IGK Cash In instant repair serum and Beach Club volumizing texture spray. The repair serum is perfect to apply when my hair needs a little bit of nourishment from natural sun damage and being outside all the time. I love to add on the texture spray at nighttime for a going-out look without trying too hard.

How do you combat the summer frizz from the heat and rain?

To combat summer frizz, I would highly recommend using Good Behavior spirulina protein smoothing spray before you apply any hot tools, and then using 1-800 Hold Me no-crunch flexible hold hairspray to lock in the look and ensure it stays tame throughout the day. These two products work well against different weather situations!

What are your favorite products for a nighttime look?

For a nighttime look, I love to use either the Rich Kid coconut oil air-dry styler to slick my hair back into my signature tight ponytail, or No Limit dry volume and thickening spray if I do waves with my hair down to give it nice texture and a voluminous look.

What is something you use daily?

Something that I use daily is the Best Life 100% plant-powered nourishing hair oil. I like to apply this hair oil to my natural hair, straight out of the shower for a perfect daytime look. It’s so light and easy, you only need a little bit and you are ready to go!
