A new Mediterranean restaurant, Issabella’s, is set to open on December 17 in the heart of Miami Beach. Uni Hospitality’s newest venture will feature modern European dishes with influences from Spain, Greece and Italy. The restaurant's menu is filled with an assortment of tapas-style dishes prepared with locally sourced produce.

Keva and Jonathan Balan are the husband-wife duo behind Uni Hospitality and are excited for the public to get a taste of Issabella’s. The pair worked tirelessly to bring the feeling of a Mediterranean oasis to Lincoln Road.

“The design is a mix of contemporary Mediterranean colors, natural marble stones, and wood accents,” said co-founder, Keva Balan.

“It was important to curate a space and a brand that would transport you to Europe, so all of the colors and fresh tones do that in an understated fashion. I sourced antique pieces from Spain & Italy to add some traditional elegant touches," Balan explained.

The space boasts high ceilings with a dramatic staircase, complete with both modern and antique décor. The venue would not be complete without the delicious array of food, taking inspiration from French, Spanish and Greek cuisine. Menu highlights include Spanish octopus carpaccio, crispy squid, Uni toast and decadent Bravas topped with caviar and uni aioli. Entrée specialties include a whole branzino cooked to perfection, and don’t forget to order a pizza for the table.

Issabella’s also has a specially curated selection of cocktails, crafts and wines. They specialize in. crafted gin and tonic cocktails, with a large selection of gins to choose from. Sip on a Quintessential Spritz, Issa’s Rossini, or La Hora Del Vermut to start the evening.

“Serving great food and drinks in a beautiful space with excellent service we feel is missing in Miami Beach, particularly Lincoln Road. We are both European and wanted to create a space that really embodies that European lifestyle,” said Jonathan Balan Co-Owner of Issabella’s and Uni Hospitality.

The Balan’s are extremely excited to bring a slice of the Mediterranean to South Beach and invite everyone to enjoy Issabella’s opening December 17 at, 1022 Lincoln Road.
