On April 14, luxe artist Johnathan Schultz celebrated the opening of his first major art gallery in Miami's Design District. Stacked with VIP guests, the party celebrated Schultz's one of a kind vision in defining the future of art.

Schultz favors mediums such as precious metals and gemstones, allowing him to break artistic boundaries and truly communicate the cultural spirit and mood of modern day art. His artistic use of earth's stunning materials creates art that makes you feel something in your soul, while pushing relationships and boundaries.

In addition to tangible works of art, Schultz has also been experimenting with artistic endeavors within the NFT space. What originally started as a physical piece of artwork, his creation GEM, has made the seamless transition into the metaverse. Created to be a representation of humans themselves, GEM is a unique gender neutral being made to adapt to whatever the aesthete wants it to be.

The evening of celebration brought together VIPs, friends and long term supporters of Schultz's creative achievements. Taking a break from intense play off preparations, Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem inaugurated the party and received a bespoke diamond and white gold commission from Schultz’s approaching NFT creation. Miami Dolphins player Louis Oliver, NBA player Brent Wright, and the executive team from the Design District also attended the launch party.

Party guests were able to relish in Schultz never before seen pieces of artwork. A stunning piece called “Out Of The Darkness" truly wowed the crowd, derived from Nelson Mandela's fingerprints, the sculpture contained 9,225 diamonds set in 18 carat white gold weighing in at a whopping 895 carats. The meticulous cut of stones created a jaw dropping and alternative point of view on the legacy of the South African hero.

Standing at 10 feet tall, his captivating sculpture, “Refraction Of A Legacy” is a legendary work of art. A beautiful chandelier, containing five circular layers with cascades of diamonds, is a sight to behold. Each glistening diamond beautifully represents the hope and light we have within ourselves.
