Every good steakhouse has the staples, premium meats, a selection of seafood and decadent sides of creamed spinach, potatoes, fries and more. Brickell’s latest culinary steakhouse, Mr. Hospitality Miami’s Lafayette Steakhouse, merges Miami opulence with the epicurean mastery American steakhouses are known for.

Taking over El Tucán’s previous space, Lafayette Steakhouse honors the lasting bond between France and America. Inspired by Revolutionary War era Major General Marquis de Lafayette—the restaurant’s namesake—guests are greeted with unmatched hospitality, private nooks and intimate speakeasy-like corners that serve as the perfect sanctuary to enjoy dinner out. Complete with a grand piano in the center of the main floor, dark and moody lighting and lush fabrics, the steakhouse merges the best of old-world charm with contemporary design features for a decadent experience.

“At Lafayette Steakhouse, we’ve created an atmosphere where every detail exudes the opulence of a bygone era, complementing our dedication to sourcing only the finest ingredients and an exquisitely tailored selection of fine wines and rare spirits,” says Mathieu Massa, owner and founder of Mr. Hospitality Miami. “From the moment you step through our doors, you’re enveloped in an aura of intrigue and distinction, setting the stage for an unforgettable moment.”

With an undeniably intriguing ambiance, the menu is defined by a commitment to culinary decadence and a chef-driven ethos. Chef Kylian Goussot, who previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels alongside decorated chefs Joël Robuchon and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, leads the kitchen crafting the ingredient-driven menu. From an extensive selection of land and sea options, indulge in caviar service and specialty cut meats such as the boneless ribeye, skirt steak or the 32 oz prime USDA baby tomahawk, each skillfully prepared over a wood charcoal Josper oven.
Add to the culinary experience with an extensive list of artisanal and barrel-aged cocktails, old-world vintage wines and top-shelf spirits. End your nights with mouthwatering desserts created by pastry chef Nelson Mendonca.
Inviting Miami residents and visitors to experience the design-forward steakhouse, Lafayette enhances Brickell’s extraordinary culinary scene while honoring the timeless charm of American steakhouses. 1111 SW First Ave., Miami,@lafayettemiami
