A good steakhouse serves the classics: melt-in-your-mouth steaks, seafood towers and an excellent wine list. Now, Maple Hospitality Group, the team behind the acclaimed Maple & Ash steakhouse, is embarking on an East Coast chapter, bringing the steakhouse to Miami.
Led by two-starred MICHELIN chef Danny Grant, the Miami menu seamlessly combines classics while integrating locally inspired creations. Highlighting the city’s unique components, Grant says the culinary program looks to the state for inspiration and works with local fishermen to create fish-forward dishes. “This is an opportunity for us to show off our skills, being creative and more culinary-driven men,” he shares. “This was our version of how we thought we could make a big impact on this dining style.”

The guest-favorite fire-roasted seafood tower also returns, a bold reimagination of the traditional seafood dish accompanied by the pasta back, made from cooked shellfish tower. For dessert, there is a Sundae Service, reminiscent of a childhood treat.

“We do a nice job at retaining the things that make us who we are, part of our DNA, whether it’s the look and feel of the space. Those are the constant baselines through all our restaurants,” chef Grant shares.
This two-story, 22,000-square-foot venture also marks the group’s most significant project yet.

“This is one of the biggest restaurants I’ve ever opened. It’s given me this avenue of freedom to play with, how we can have fun with the guests a little bit more,” Grants shares. “We’ve been able to put different stations throughout the restaurant that activate at different hours of the night.”
Of those programs is The Swarm—a welcome cocktail or mocktail paired with a thoughtfully crafted bite—which sets the tone for the dining experience and makes every guest feel at home from the very first sip.699 NE First Ave., Miami,@mapleandash
