As summer winds down, the days get shorter and the air gets colder, it's time to put those summer staples away and think about fall essentials.
Lucky for you, Marc Jacobs just unveiled his Heaven fall 2022 collection, modeled by a smattering of pop culture stars including Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Pamela Anderson, Dev Hynes, Kyle MacLachlan and more.
The Heaven line was created to be an intersection of film, art, TV and fashion, so it’s only fitting the biggest names in all those industries gather to bring these looks to life. The campaign was photographed by Harley Weir, and styled by Danielle Emerson who's worked with the brand in the past.
Pamela Anderson
This isn’t the first time Marc Jacobs created a star studded-launch like this. The first ever Heaven collection launched in 2020 and got the ball rolling for nostalgic fashion trends, tapping marquee musicians Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert and Sky Ferreira.
This time around, Heaven takes inspiration from ‘90s nostalgia and contemporary fashion. Marc Jacobs collaborated with artists Eri Wakiyama, Mimi Wade, Wong Kar-Wai, Online Ceramics, Claire Barrow, Will Sheldon and Elliot Shields to accomplish that vision.
Dev Hynes
The ‘90s influence can be seen in the design of baby tees, mini-dresses and mini-skirts, as well as oversized pants and hoodies.
For this collection, the stars show off their off-screen and off-stage personalities in some bright and funky outfits. Oversized hoodies and pants, low rise bottoms and colorful mini dresses are sprinkled throughout the collection.
The fall 2022 line incorporates bright blues and greens as well as darker browns and muted grays.
Doja is featured in a vibrant, watercolor-inspired minidress, as well as a plaid, green mini skirt with a white and pink baby tee. Some of the painting-like pieces were inspired by Eri Wakiyama’s uses of watercolor and acrylic, which can be seen on t-shirts, dresses and jewelry.
The ‘90s nostalgia continues with Pamela Anderson in a monochromatic gray mini-skirt and top with a white lace trim. Even the jewelry screams ‘90s, with friendship rings and big earrings that melt the innocence of childhood with cutting edge fashion.
The entire campaign and collection is now available on the Marc Jacobs website. See more of your stylish favorites in the images below, and visit marcjacobs.com to learn more.
