Margarita Live is putting a twist on traditional storytelling. This one-of-a-kind production combines Broadway with the world of mixology.
Taking the stage in Miami, Margarita Live will be performed on November 18 at the PALAPA Miami’s open-air venue. The evening will have two showtimes, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., with plenty of time to take in the amazing music, dancing and cocktails.
The immersive experience and show leads the audience members through the 1930s and 1940s when individuals began to cross the US and Mexico border. Iconic bartender, John Durlesser brings the audience through the story of two Hollywood stars, Rita Hayworth and Marjorie King who are best known for inspiring the creation of the well-loved margarita cocktail.
Margarita Live is so much more than just a show, the storyline blends singing, dancing, mystery, nostalgia and fun into a jam-packed performance.
Actor and director, Rene Lavan has put together the ultimate show and evening. Attendees will discover the stories behind the creation of the margarita while sipping on a variety of margarita samples throughout the evening and will then embrace the international cuisine from Upper Buena Vista’s global menu.
There are a variety of ticket options for Margatia Live, including Zone A Couch for 2 or 4 people with premium visibility, Zone A Couch for 4, with premium visibility, Zone B Couch for 2 or 4 people with restricted visibility, and Zone B Table for 2 people with restricted visibility. Tickets start at $100 per person and include a delicious offering of margaritas throughout the production.
This event will be cocktail fueled, with a tequila master class tasting led by expert agave ambassador, Luigi Rodriguez, in conjunction with Margarita Live. The tequila master class will take place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., and is priced at $75 per person.
