GPG Hospitality, a hospitality powerhouse based in New York City, is excited to introduce Mazeh, a brand-new Modern Middle Eastern concept, to the Magic City. The restaurant, which will open its doors to the public on July 15, will bring a casual modern Middle Eastern experience to Miami's vibrant dining scene.
Mazeh exudes the warmth of Middle Eastern hospitality. The restaurant's style deviates from a traditional dining experience, inviting guests to pace the meal as they please and ordering small dishes throughout the night while enjoying an evening out. Its menu is inspired by the diverse and flavorful cuisine of the Middle East, offering guests an authentic taste of the region while highlighting Miami's fresh local fare. Middle Eastern flavors are applied to these tapas in a way that respects and allows the main ingredient to shine, turning this concept into a must-visit destination.
The menu features delightful and innovative dishes like Arayes, ground lamb, or fish grilled inside a fresh pita with amba. Wrapped in brick pastry and served with tahini, falafel cigars Skewers include grilled octopus with labneh and za'atar, grilled steak with smoked tomato sauce and bone marrow olive vinaigrette, grilled cabbage with green tahini and herb gremolata, and Mazeh's signature Tiffin Box, which contains an assortment of seasonal Middle Eastern dips and spreads served with fresh pita.
Mazeh's drinks are designed to complement the experience and elevate the flavors of the tapas. Cocktails include the You Oughta Know, which is made with vodka, Lillet Rouge, grapefruit, dill, and honey; the Doo Wop, which is made with silver rum, kaffir lime, passion fruit, lemongrass, and lavender; and the Hypnotize, which is made with vodka, bergamot, smoked pineapple, and grapefruit.
The restaurant serves a variety of breakfast boards in the morning. The Greek Breakfast includes Greek salad, tzatziki, feta, and Kalamata olives; a traditional English Breakfast with eggs, baked beans, turkey bacon and sausage, tomato, and hash browns; a Continental Breakfast with a selection of bread and viennoiserie served with eggs; and a Middle Eastern Breakfast with eggs, Israeli salad, labneh, avocado, and tahini.
Along with Mazeh, the team is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of Float, an elevated outdoor lounge, later this year.
