With his roots in South Florida, DJ GQ is determined to lay the bricks to his music empire based in his hometown. Born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Jamaica, DJ GQ began his journey to becoming an internationally known DJ at an early age and stayed consistent with his goals. DJ GQ reached the Billboard charts with his EP “Is It You?”, and has worked with notable names such as Akon, DMX, Skip Marley, and Kevin Lyttle. Besides staying booked and busy at various hotspots in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, DJ GQ can be regularly heard on iHeart's Y100 and has been a presence there for the last 12 years. Most recently, he has added a segment to Bob Marley Radio on SiriusXM. His expertise in reggae music caught the attention of Cedella Marley, who consulted with DJ GQ on the programming and launch of Bob Marley Radio.

In addition to staying active in his music career, DJ GQ has ventured into the world of craft beer. Originally established in December 2016, GQʼs Craft House in Sunrise, Florida is a local staple for craft beer and good vibes. GQʼs Craft House is more than just a bar, itʼs a cozy and familiar-feeling gathering place for locals and new faces alike.

The recent grand reopening in June 2022 revealed GQʼs Craft Houseʼs updated interior. Along with a space to watch DJs and artists perform are portraits of famous musicians on the walls illuminated by colorful lighting. Featuring a rotating menu, different hookah flavors, and games,

guests can unwind their way.
