Favorite Miami spot: South Pointe—I probably spend most of my time there.
Beauty secret: I love avocado. It’s great for the skin and for helping get rid of dark circles under the eyes.
Favorite song: I just heard ‘Max Can’t Surf’ by FIDLAR and it’s pretty great.
Beach activities: Surfing. It consumes about 98% of what I do. And if it’s flat, I like to free dive or body surf.
Style icon: Fiona Apple/Drew Barrymore circa mid-’90s.
Breakthrough moment: Moving to the East Coast at 17 to pursue surfing, and then moving to Miami a year ago to pursue modeling. Those were probably my two most eye-opening and life-changing decisions.
Leisurely pursuits: I currently have an Astro van I’ve converted and have been traveling in for the last six months chasing swell in Florida. When I’m not working, I like to travel to find waves.
First photo shoot: I’ve worked and rode for a surf shop up in Pensacola called Maverick Board Riding Company. If it weren’t for them and the opportunities through their shop, taking skating and surfing pictures to rep the brand, I never would have seen modeling as a career opportunity that would allow me the freedom to continue the pursuit of my passions.
Mantra: Manifestation is real, and every thought is a prayer. You’re in control of your life’s path. I believe as long as you put the right energy into what you want, you will get there someday!
