With the news that the Florida Michelin Guide is expanding to the entire state in 2026, there is no doubt The Sunshine State is soaring with culinary prowess. Now, the Michelin Guide has officially released its selections, and Miami leads with 14 One Michelin Star, one Two Micheline-Starred restaurant and four Michelin Green Starred restaurants.
“Florida has proven to be an international culinary destination, with the expansion to three new cities and five restaurants being welcomed into the MICHELIN Star family in this year’s selection,” said Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of the MICHELIN Guides. “Our anonymous Inspectors continued to be delighted by Florida’s culinary community, and we congratulate all of the chefs and restaurants being honored in this year’s selection.”
Winning its first Michelin Star, Itamae Ao, a Peruvian and Japanese restaurant, offers guests an elevated omakase experience marrying the two culinary dishes. The 10-seat counter, led by chef Nano Chang, offers a bold tasting menu. Located in the heart of Midtown, the dishes pay homage to Chang’s family’s roots and set a new standard for Nikkei cuisine.
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, the open-kitchen Design District hallmark, remains Miami’s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Serving a seasonal prix fixe menu while staying true to its Parisian roots.

“Earning two Michelin Stars year after year is something we never take for granted. It reflects the precision, heart, and dedication our team brings to everything we do,” shared chef James Friedberg, executive chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami. “Every detail at L’Atelier is intentional, from sourcing to service, and we’re proud to carry forward chef Robuchon’s legacy while continuing to elevate what’s possible in Florida’s culinary scene.”
Two Miami restaurants, EntreNos and Stubborn Seed, also earned a Michelin Green Star. This award recognizes and honors restaurants that are pioneers in sustainability, working to minimize waste and promote regenerative agriculture.
“What’s happening in Miami’s kitchens today is nothing short of extraordinary,” said David Whitaker, president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Culinary excellence has become one of the strongest drivers of tourism for our community, drawing visitors from around the world who come to experience our acclaimed restaurants and celebrated chefs.”
