Blockchain.com Miami Padel Open is excited for its inaugural event this month.
Combining world-class sport and technology, Miami is now the home to the Blockchain.com Miami Padel Open. The event is in partnership with Miami-based investors, Boich Investment Group and 777 Partners, who are excited to bring together the world of crypto and tech with the ever-evolving sport of padel.
The events are set to kick off on February 22 and will feature a six-day tournament, with an emphasis on lifestyle and entertainment sports. The tournament is taking place at Island Gardens, making itself the quintessential Miami location, with a picture-perfect backdrop of Miami’s skyline.

The event is also in partnership with other local padel supporters, Grinda Investments and Dani Homedes, owner of the Wynwood Padel Club.
The event will bring together 2,000 people in the beautiful outdoor venue, completely transforming Island Gardens into the ultimate luxury padel experience. From general admission ticketing to VIP experiences, attendees will be presented with luxury experiences from the moment they arrive. VIP offerings are presented by Richard Mille, where the Richard Mille Luxury Boxes will house 76 individual VIP Boxes in partnership with culinary offerings from Major Food Group’s ZZ’s Club. Attendees will also have access to La Fête du Rosé, bites from Pura Vida and a one-of-a-kind performance from Ludacris.
Many Miami locals will be in attendance throughout the week’s festivities, including this year’s Honorary Chairperson for the Miami Padel Open, Jimmy Butler. He expressed, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of bringing the World Padel Tour to Miami and to be selected as Miami Padel Open’s Honorary Chairperson. The best padel players in the world are coming together to compete at the highest level within the very city my team and I play our home games - it’s something to be proud of, to say the least.”
With padel at the forefront of the sports industry right now, World Padel Tour General Director, Mario Hernando expressed his excitement for starting the season in Miami. Not only is Miami opening up the season, but it will also break World Padel History by featuring both the male and females circuit.
