Summer officially begins at the onset of Miami Swim Week, which cuts through the blazing Miami temps with its wave of trendsetting swimsuit designs and resort wear modeled by sun-kissed beauties. Sunset-colored ombré palettes, crochets and printed mesh overlays, coastal cowgirl uniforms, 3-D coquette aesthetic and black-and-white contrasts were just some of the trends strutted down the runway, brought to life by a dynamic assortment of renowned and emerging brands.

The two festival headliners, PARAISO Miami Swim Week and Miami Swim Week The Shows, hosted over 100 events collectively during the course of four days, mostly taking place in their respective locations of the Collins Park Tent and SLS South Beach. The types of events ranged from everything under the sun, including countless private launch dinners, activations, parties, panels, runway presentations, brand collabs and networking sessions.
As the 20th anniversary of PARAISO and the 10th anniversary of Miami Swim Week The Shows, this year’s celebration of swimsuit fashion reached unprecedented heights with splashy surprise appearances and exhilarating off-site experiences. The Istituto Marangoni Upcycle Challenge brought five student finalists to swim week’s main stage to raise awareness on fashion sustainability, while luxury lifestyle brand ACACIA debuted its 2025 Resort Collection at the iconic 1111 Lincoln Road in collaboration with PARAISO’s official sponsor, Sharpie Creative Markers.

Swim Week may be behind us, but the styles are here to stay. Here’s a recap of the most memorable shows rocking the boat this season.
In celebration of the brand’s 60th anniversary at W South Beach, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2024 Runway Show played host to more than 1,500 guests, including influencers, celebrities and VIPs. This year’s show was piping hot, kicking off with a star-laden red carpet that featured arrivals from talent such as Brooks Nader, Camille Kostek, Jena Sims, Katie Austin, Abbie Herbert and more.
The runway show that followed was full of twists and turns. The brand’s first digital cover model, TikTok sensation Alix Earle, surprised attendees by walking the runway with the Earle sister entourage, setting the sizzling tone for the rest of the night. The social media star later made a second appearance on the runway, this time as a solo strut in a Sommer Swim deep blue bikini.
