The Moxy South Beach is a go-to destination for its extensive hospitality offerings, including its six on-site dining and drinking venues. But more than just its restaurants, the hotel is excited about its newest activations, which include open to the public drawing classes and culinary pop-ups.
All events are taking place in the hotel's tequila bar and cocktail lounge, Mezcalista.
On Friday, January 14 at 8 p.m., the Raw Figs Figure Drawing Pop Up will be taking place. This is an exciting opportunity to take part in a self-guided drawing class featuring live models.
On Sunday, January 16 at 7 p.m., Peacock Ramen and The Wolf of Taco’s will be popping up at the popular venue. This collaboration includes a dinner party with these delicious, local culinary offerings, alongside a Cerveza and mezcal pairing from the over 200 varieties at the Mezcalista lounge.
The menu for the evening explores both Mexican and Japanese cuisine. Priced at $75 per person, all attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in two very authentic dishes.
The menu includes Tostada de Pata served with Pickled beef, refried bean spread, cabbage slaw and avocado crema alongside a Pozole Shio Ramen which brings together Japanese noodle soup and Mexican stews. The ramen is made with a chicken, pork and hominy broth, topped with hominy, pork shoulder, chopped ham hock, cilantro red onion mix, sliced radishes, lime and chile powder.
In addition to the amazing menu for the evening, the ambiance will contribute to the evening’s success with music by acclaimed Miami DJ Lucaz.
The Moxy Hotel opened in Miami with an emphasis on culture and a new chapter for hospitality in the city, and these two events are just that. The hotel highlights the importance of community, events and culture in the ever-evolving Magic City.
