The seven new Carousel Productions at Sea shows, explicitly produced for MSC Cruises' Meraviglia Class ships, are the latest addition to the cruise line's stunning entertainment lineup.

With its fleet of sophisticated and creative ships that operate as destinations, MSC Cruises is dedicated to providing guests with one-of-a-kind experiences. After a day of experiencing some of the world's most incredible destinations ashore, guests return to the ship to find a rich onboard experience with round-the-clock entertainment for the entire family.

Guests sailing on the Company's Meraviglia Class ships can now enjoy a new immersive entertainment concept called Carousel Productions at Sea, in addition to hundreds of hours of daily activities, themed evenings, live music, sports tournaments, high-tech interactive arcades, and full-scale theatrical productions in the ship's main theatre.

The Carousel Productions at Sea features seven new, exclusive shows that combine awe-inspiring acrobatics, dance, and music to create a multi-sensory entertainment experience with light, sound, and dazzling acrobatic performances at the intimate state-of-the-art venue: The Carousel Lounge.

Each 40-minute show has an expertly curated ensemble of performers who have been hand-selected from all over the world for their exceptional performance skills and trained to the high standards expected of MSC Cruises and Carousel Productions at Sea.

AJEDREZ - available on MSC Virtuosa

This operatic rock spectacular, inspired by the chess game, will introduce two rival queens who fall in love with the same king and compete to capture his heart. As the teams battle it out to the sound of a ticking chess clock, we shall meet the many characters of the chessboard, from bishops to knights, who are represented by life-size statues.

ARKYMEA - available on MSC Virtuosa

A scientist discovers a hidden universe where the most outlandish ideas and ambitious ambitions come true. The scientist travels through dimensions with secret technology to reach Arkymea, a fascinating land filled with spectacular characters performing acrobatic feats and where magic is alive and well all around you.

STRINGS - available on MSC Grandiosa

This high-flying circus adventure tells the story of a lonely toymaker and his lovely muse. Fantastic live music, incredible aerial feats, fascinating circus artists, and more are featured in the presentation.

SWEET - available on MSC Bellissima and MSC Grandiosa

This presentation transports guests of all ages to real-life sugar land, which is truly a delight for the imagination. This musical presentation is full of classic tunes with a twist, and it promises to delight the entire family with a sugar rush of some of the most memorable songs.

MYüT - available on MSC Bellissima

Follow characters, acrobats, and dancers on an emotional journey through fantastic worlds. As the protagonist MYüT sets out searching for assistance in regaining his voice, he is transported to a colorful world full of colors and flowers, transporting him to a dreamy condition. He progresses through many environments, each eliciting distinct emotions and stimulating his senses. He meets new acquaintances along the road who have exceptional gifts and abilities, and he is eventually led to the light and revelation of his knowledge and voice, which had been hidden deep within him all along.

HOUSE OF HOUDINI - available on MSC Meraviglia from May 2022

Imagine celebrating some of the world's best Harry Houdini's most imaginative and unique illusions and magic. The show incorporates modern music, elaborate costumes, incredible props, and an international ensemble of actors who sing, dance, and spring to life in one of the world's most technologically advanced theatres, The MSC Carousel Lounge.

ROCK CIRCUS - available on MSC Meraviglia from May 2022

Take one incredibly skilled group of acrobats, circus acts, singers, dancers, and musicians, combine them with the finest rock soundtrack ever created, and ROCK CIRCUS. Our talented team of performers will fly, spin, and leap through the greatest hits of AC/DC, Guns & Roses, and many more anthems from Rocks Royalty! The only difference is that our guitar solos and knee slides will take place in mid-air as our talented performers fly, spin, and leap through the greatest hits of AC/DC, Guns & Roses, and many more anthems from Rocks Royalty!

All seven acts are performed exclusively in the Carousel Lounge, a glitzy, cutting-edge setting that brings guests closer to a dazzling exhibition of acrobatic flair and artistic finesse. State-of-the-art sound and lighting technology combines human abilities with a wide range of special effects. Each 1,000m2 custom-built, multi-million Euro lounge can only hold 400 people, resulting in an unforgettable private entertainment experience.

These stunning shows cost €10 in advance, or €15 onboard and feature a signature alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail that complements the show theme. Bombay Tonic, Vodka Red Rooster, Virgin Mojito, Rosemary Gimlet, Tiki Mule, and Paloma Fizz are among the cocktails available.
