Born and raised in Miami, Myles Shear, aka @managermyles, has a deep love and appreciation for the city. This is why when he and Palm Tree Crew co-founder Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (more formally known as international musician Kygo) received the call from the esteemed Continuum Group to open a new hospitality concept in Miami’s North Bay Village, it was an immediate yes.
“Getting the call about this space being available for us to take over was like a dream for me,” says Shear. “As a Miami kid, I grew up going to [formerly] Shuckers, and I always thought of the location, and North Bay Village as a whole, as the hidden treasure of Miami.”
With uninterrupted 360-degree views of Biscayne Bay and waterfront access to dock a boat, it’s easy to see why. And this just so happens to blend perfectly with the Palm Tree Crew lifestyle—blue skies and deep blue waters framed by palm trees, laid-back food and drinks and a hub for music.

Palm Tree Club brings something to Miami that has long, and shockingly, been lacking for a city so ingrained in the music and entertainment industry—a waterfront venue for weekly live music that starts during the day and goes into the night. It epitomizes the Miami lifestyle beautifully, as it allows guests to come by car or boat, dock up and dine into the night as they enjoy legendary live entertainment.
“What’s cool about Palm Tree Club that differs from our Palm Tree Festivals, which have grown over the years in some of the world’s coolest and most unique cities like Aspen and St. Barths, is that we’re bringing different formats of music to the venue. We’ll of course have our lineup of DJs like Kygo, Marshmello and SofiTukker that are in line with our Festival format, but we’re also going to bring in country performers, rock and more,” says Shear. “This is something I’m really excited about because it’s new and different for us, and I think for Miami as well.”

In addition to an ever-evolving roster of performers, the venue will also host culinary pop-ups to keep the menu fresh and exciting. However, the classic weekend staples of coconut shrimp, chicken tenders, shrimp cocktail and the burger never fail to hit in the ultimate satisfying way when you’re craving simple classics done well. Pair that with the ability to watch live sports games on one of the venue’s eight flat-screen TVs, and you’re in for a Sunday treat. Where else can you simultaneously enjoy bottle service and a DJ while watching Sunday football?

Aside from the Miami location, you can also find Palm Tree Club in Orlando and soon-to-be Las Vegas, which was most recently announced in partnership with MGM and Tao Group, taking over the former Wet Republic.
“Palm Tree Club is our way of connecting with our consumers in a more permanent way than a yearly Festival. It’s a place where they can come time and again and connect with the Palm Tree lifestyle,” Shear notes.

Palm Tree Crew CEO Michael Diaz continues, “Our strategy from the beginning has been to build momentum and excitement around the brand with our events, and now we’re continuing that by curating experiences through brick and mortar that can exist year round. When we started with Miami, the home of Palm Tree Crew, we tailored it to the market specifically. Our other locations in Orlando and Las Vegas will similarly fit their respective markets. Each concept will have a consistent feeling that you’re at a Palm Tree Club concept, but with distinct elements catered to different audiences, which makes each visit to a different location of ours unique and exciting.”
