Noble House Hotels & Resorts is expanding its portfolio with the recent acquisition of 50% ownership in Key West with The Marquesa Hotel (@marquesahotel) and the award-winning Café Marquesa.
“We have long admired The Marquesa Hotel and Café Marquesa for their flawless reputation and impeccable guest experience,” said Jake Donoghue, CEO of Noble House Hotels & Resorts.
While Carol Wightman, Erik deBoer and Derek deBoer, the current owners and operators of 35 years, will continue to own the remaining interest in the hotel, Noble House Hotels & Resorts will operate and manage the property.
“We are so proud to enter a partnership with owners Carol, Erik and Derek,” shares Donoghue.
Located in the center of Old Town Key West, the historic part of the city, The Marquesa offers 44 beautiful rooms, three separate swimming pools, tropical gardens and Café Marquesa— the iconic 80-seat restaurant consistently rated as one of the top dining destinations in the area.
“The Marquesa Hotel is a serene retreat for those looking for luxury, privacy, gracious service and a true island experience,” says Donoghue.
With a collection of 25 luxury and upscale resorts and hotels across the country, Marquesa is now Noble House Hotels & Resort's third Florida Keys property, including Ocean Key Resort & Spa and Little Palm Island Resort & Spa.
“The addition of The Marquesa Hotel to the Noble House Hotels & Resorts portfolio reinforces our commitment to growth with award-winning properties that are individually distinct,” Donoghue says.
