High-quality, affordable omakase has been synonymous with OMAKAI in Miami since the opening of its first location in Wynwood five years ago.
Now the beloved local sushi brand is welcoming Miami’s first proper hand roll bar to Brickell, offering a fresh take on traditional sushi with an emphasis on fine ingredients and expert handcrafting.
The 996-square-foot space will take over Solaris Brickell, officially unveiling to the public on Aug. 2. Guests are invited to watch the chefs perform their craft from the vantage point of the 27-seat hand roll bar before selecting their lunch or dinner experience.
Four different set menus range from $15 to $34, with the option to order specialty hand rolls, appetizers, sashimi, beer, wine or sake a la carte.
As the doors open on this latest OMAKAI venture in August, several more will follow, including in nearby Downtown.
"After nearly five years of building and nurturing the OMAKAI brand, we’re excited to expand upon our offerings and innovate with an entirely new concept, OMAKAI hand roll bar,” said owner Nicolas Sayavedra in a press statement.
