Serving its 29th year as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, OMEGA is transporting the Tokyo Olympic Games to Miami. In collaboration with its deep-rooted partnership with the Olympic Games since 1932, the OMEGA boutique in the Design District has been transformed, to commemorate the start of an exciting few weeks ahead.
This cutting-edge, experiential pop-up of, “A Journey Through Time” is a unique and eye-catching way to express OMEGA’s history and imaginative technology. The outdoor activation features a life-size art installation of an Olympic size swimming pool, OMEGA branded starting blocks, lane dividers and aquatic flooring, bringing the pool replica completely to life.
This experiential moment goes far beyond just the outdoor exhibit. As you head upstairs to the second floor of the Design District boutique, you will immerse and educate yourself in OMEGA’s vast history and role as the Official Timekeeper. Through different activations and installations, the long-standing history and 89 years of OMEGA will be told. Additionally, the upstairs portion of the installation features the Vintage Timepiece Exhibition which includes one of the first starting pistols used and created by OMEGA.
This goes just beyond the OMEGA boutique, throughout the Design District, many Olympic and athlete-inspired moments and activations can be found. This exhibit is truly highlighting OMEGA’s passion for sports and its long-standing partnership with the Olympic Games.
The installation will be available to the public until August 29th, giving both visitors and shoppers the opportunity to be ingrained in Olympic Games history and culture, as well as educate themselves on the OMEGA brand.
