In the world of social media many joke about the concept of “phone eats first,” and this new experience coming to South Florida truly embodies that. With picture-perfect place settings in the most jaw-dropping environment, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
Outstanding In The Field is best known for creating impeccable outdoor dining experiences, and the brand is officially coming to the Sunshine State. In conjunction with three-time James Beard-nominated Chef Niven Patel, Outstanding In The Field is creating a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. The event is taking place at a small family-owned farm, Holman’s Harvest, in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida.
Marty and Liza Holman purchased the 15-acre farm in 2013. Over the last several years Holman’s Harvest has built and created workshops, chicken coops, a goat barn, pole barns, a high tunnel greenhouse, irrigation systems, trellis systems, pasture fencing, fruit groves, permanent annual beds, habitat strips and much more.
The event at Holman’s Harvest will be a celebration of local and organically grown produce, where Chef Patel will explore some of the best the farm has to offer. Chef Patel is well known in the culinary community for his star restaurant’s Ghee Indian Kitchen, Mamey and Orno. While this is an exciting opportunity for Chef Patel to explore the produce grown at Holman’s Harvest, he is no stranger to farm life, as he owns his own farm in Homestead, Rancho Patel. Rancho Patel is a prominent figure in all of Chef’s menus at his restaurants, focussing on using in-season and fresh produce when possible.

For this meal Chef Patel will explore all of Holman’s Harvest’s fresh produce, tropical fruit trees, and eggs from their free-running pastured hens.
The delicious culinary experience takes place on Saturday, January 15 at 2 p.m., making itself the perfect afternoon activity. With a multi-course meal and a wonderful curated experience from the Holman family, Chef Patel and Outstanding In The Field, this is an unparalleled farm-to-table experience.
Tickets for the event are officially on sale, priced at $365 per person and can be purchased here.
