BRINGING HER PASSION TO THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY, PEGGY OLIN IS LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY ON THE SOUTH FLORIDA DEVELOPMENT SCENE.

Serving as an extension to the development teams she works with, Peggy Olin (@peggyolin111) believes consistent hard work and a positive attitude are key to unlocking her goals. Creating her real estate brokerage after the 2008 market crash, Olin’s expertise in luxury real estate has played a significant role in shaping Miami’s skyline. We chat with the industry trailblazer to learn how she and her team are transforming South Florida residential living.

What inspired you to start your own company?

I started OneWorld Properties (@owpbrokers) because of my passion for real estate and desire to build something from the ground up alongside our development partners. I embarked on this journey with a vision to build a globally connected real estate brokerage specializing in new development sales that could navigate the complexities of the ever-changing market and be a true developer partner. The team is part of the process from the ground up and is an extension of the development teams themselves.

What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned about the Miami real estate and development market?

I’ve learned that to succeed, you must be obsessed with challenging the status quo and always strive to gain as much information about the market and buyers as possible. Our team is constantly connecting, traveling, researching and learning more to understand the market better. Being deeply rooted in South Florida, we know the context of the conditions our market is experiencing at this time. The only way we can serve our clients and potential buyers is to provide them with information and insight based on our expertise and passion for what we do.

What accomplishments are you most proud of recently?

We’ve had the pleasure of forging strong relationships with world-class developers whose properties in the area are transforming the future of urban living in Downtown Miami. These include JEM Private Residences, 600 Miami Worldcenter, PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter, The Crosby, YOTELPAD Miami and more, all of which are unique in their own right and deliver dynamic design, top-of-the-line amenities and unbeatable locations.

Where do you see South Florida’s luxury real estate’s future?

South Florida’s luxury real estate sector is rapidly evolving, with the Downtown Miami and Edgewater area emerging as the next hot market. The neighborhood is highly sought-after, signaling significant growth and development. We are moving closer and closer to being a completely walkable city, connected to the arts, entertainment, dining, shopping, transportation and more. People value energy and to be in the middle of it all.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

The harder I work, the luckier I get. It emphasizes that success is not merely a product of chance or luck but a direct result of consistent effort, determination and hard work.
