We totally get the guilt that ensues for leaving your four-legged best friend behind when vacation calls. In honor of National Dog Day on Aug 26 and the fact that dogs are always worthy of the same pampering and R&R as us humans, we’ve rounded up the best pet-friendly hotels in sunny Miami so Fido never has to feel lonely again.

Not only does the W South Beach provide first-class luxury amenities at its oceanfront location, it also extends its hospitality to the four-legged beings special to your heart with their Pets Are Welcome (P.A.W.) program. After checking in, be prepared to be greeted with a pet toy, pet treat, W Hotels pet tag, clean-up bags, and info about their Whatever/Whenever services, which apply to both humans and pets. It doesn’t end there—your pup will also receive a special bed, a food and water bowl with a floor mat, and a tasty turndown treat for an extra sound slumber. If you’re busy lapping up the sun and your dog’s gotta go, take advantage of the dog-walking service. Pets must be 40lbs or under and add $25 to your room charge, plus an additional $100 cleaning fee.
