As one of the leading voices in Miami’s development sector, we chat with Philip Gutman about expanding into North Bay Village with his newest project, Continuum Club and Residences.

What are some of your most memorable projects?
The first is The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. The second one is La Baia North and South in the Bay Harbor Islands, one of the most rewarding projects of my career because it started with a vision I saw in 2014. The third project is Ocean House Surfside.
What trends are you seeing in the industry?
We will see many condominium complexes acquired for safety reasons and maintenance.
What can we expect from your new projects in North Bay Village?
We expect to transform the neighborhood entirely. It’s a prime location that wasn’t appealing to developers due to the strict zoning codes. Now that the area is rezoned, we can expect some nice architecture to grace our skylines.
Why is this project unique to you?
The original Continuum launched 25 years ago and is one of Miami’s most recognizable condominium complexes. I look forward to the brand exceeding expectations on Continuum Club and Residences in North Bay Village, also dubbed “Continuum 2.0.”
What do you have planned for next year?
I founded Gutman Development Marketing to fill a void in local and new development sectors. After years of working with developers and brokerage firms, I realized there was a need for someone to work hand-in-hand with developers on all aspects of the sales function and serve as the liaison. Being involved at the earliest stages of development, GDM plays a crucial role in the success of real estate projects, and I look forward to growing the business.
