Take it from us and set your alarms for the morning of Thursday, July 7, because Prada’s latest monthly Timecapsule Collection is set to include a gender-neutral physical product and gifted NFT.

The first Prada Timecapsule came last month. It was a collaboration with artist Cassius Hirst, and it sold out immediately.

July’s drop will include a shirt made completely out of upcycled fabric from Prada’s archives. The shirt gives new life to vintage textiles and represents the Italian luxury brand’s commitment to more eco-friendly and sustainable techniques.

The Timecapsule shirt is sure to turn heads, as it features a previously archived Holliday and Brown tulip print and Jacquard Animalier brocade. The back is emblazoned with the word “July,” marking the upcoming drop as a fashionable moment to be collected.

Prada imbues the piece with fashion history. Notably, the silk fabric is culled from an early 20th century French archive. The design also integrates deco-inspired fabrics with a ‘Poplin Loto’ print to tie it all together.

As with last month’s Timecapsule debut, this piece will be available to buy during a short 24-hour window on the first Thursday of the month. Each drop is limited to 50 items, and each item in the Timecapsule collection is paired with a unique serial number and will arrive at your doorstep in custom packaging.

Buyers also gain exclusive access to scarce NFTs that reflect the Timecapsule purchase, redeemable as soon as the transaction has concluded.

NFT owners earn access to exclusive Prada benefits and experiences, including early access to future drops, as well as the official “Prada Crypted” Discord server where you can connect with other fashion lovers and keep tabs on your digital assets.
