The Last Train to Paradise: Centennial Edition by Les Standiford
South Florida author Les Standiford re-released Last Train ($60, B&B Press) earlier this year to mark the 100th anniversary of Henry Flagler’s East Coast Railway. In it, Standiford accounts the intricate construction, soaring rise, and legendary demise of the railway’s Key West extension. The new edition features 150 new photographs selected by historians and museums from around the country, as well as a linen cloth cover, silver foil stamping, and hand-tipped map.
