For those familiar with the Lower East Side watering hole, Ray’s needs little explanation. Opening in 2019, Ray’s quickly became the neighborhood-friendly joint delivering hometown charm. And it’s now in Miami Beach.
Known for blending celebrity-backed glamour with classic American small-town bar charm, Ray’s Hometown Bar delivers on food. With inventive takes on classic bar food, guests can enjoy Ray’s style fries, seasoned and smothered in a spicy Zab’s butter sauce, a Hometown Cuban sandwich with spicy mustard, Swiss and pickles, and the standout Ray’s burger—a four-ounce smashed beef patty with onion, pickles, lettuce and special sauce.
Serving as the brand’s first Southern outpost and third location, Ray’s beverage program continues to take center stage. Complete with a selection of custom cocktails inspired by the bar’s fictional founder and American cultural canon over the past century, guests can delight in the Ray Romano, made with Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila, lime and soda, or the Carly Rae Jepson, made with Angel’s Envy bourbon, peach and lemon.
Step inside and find classic Americana design filled with bar staples such as wood paneling, vinyl booths, vintage neon bar signs, checkerboard flooring, a pool table, signed photographs and more. Designed by Taavo Somer, the two-story bar is quickly becoming a part of Freehand’s nightlife scene. Helmed by Authentic Hospitality, the team behind Pebble Bar, Bar Calico, Jac’s on Bond and Broken Shaker, Ray’s quickly becomes part of the tapestry, serving as a laid-back destination for a night out. 2727 Indian Creek Dr.,@raysbarmiaand @authentic.ny.
